I go to great lengths to evaluate the authenticity of the images that are transmitted in the mass media, advertisments, billboards, graffiti andd wal drawings. I like seeing thousands of images; something has to hit me before I can make a painting out of it. I try to create solutions that are related to my immediate environs. They are about place, habitat and memories, and provide the viewer with an opportunity to understand how I perceive and interpret the world around me. I would also like viewers to evaluate their personal perceptiobn of the world in relation to the interpration I am putting forth. Sybille Rath - 2005
